The room was clean, but the mattress was extremely uncomfortable.

Standard Double Room featured a cozy atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. The vintage charm added character to the interior, giving it a unique feel that sets it apart from generic hotels.
Shower struggles with water pressure, only producing a dribble—quite frustrating for a morning boost. Lacking a hairdryer despite it being listed, and no hooks or a dustbin in the bathroom added to some minor annoyances. WiFi proved unreliable, with unsecured options limited and not reaching the room. The check-in window felt restrictive, creating an inconvenient hassle. not what I'd call a lavish experience, but with a bit more attention, it could be decent.

Lovely and cozy getaway!
Had an awesome stay! The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. We loved chilling at the bar area and the food was really good. The room could use a little makeover, though. And the DVD player was a sweet bonus for movie nights. We had a great night but wished for a little more modern vibe in the room.

The Superior Double Room provided ample space, ideal for a couple looking to unwind after a day of exploring. The cozy atmosphere and charming period features throughout added a unique touch to the stay.
No staff on site until the pub opened at 4 PM was a downside, making check-in a non-event. The kitchen not operating for food meant no meals available on-site, which dampened the experience. The heating in our room was nonexistent for two of the four nights, leading to an uncomfortable stay. Emergency protocols seemed lacking when the fire alarm went off at 6:25 AM with no assistance available. Shower pressure was disappointing, with only tepid water trickling out, which was unexpected for a 'superior' room.

Had an awesome time with friends! We enjoyed cycling along the scenic river and explored nearby historic sites. The rooms were cozy and perfect for an overnight stay. Just remember, they’re a bit small, so pack light. The dinner was fresh and nicely done. We especially loved chilling in the beer garden after a long day.
One downside was the check-in policy. We felt the charge for potential damages was a bit excessive.
